On 22 May 2026, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, paid a working visit to the Parliament of Georgia and held a meeting with Mr. Shalva Papuashvili, PABSEC President and Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia.
On 15 May 2026, the Third Meeting of the Presidents of the Academies of Sciences of the BSEC Member States was held in Sofia, Republic of Bulgaria, under the theme “Artificial Intelligence as a Catalyst for Scientific Cooperation in the BSEC Region.”

On 12 May 2026, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, Mr. Akhtem Chyihoz, memebr of the PABSEC Ukrainian Delegation and Mr. Petar Kanev, former PABSEC Vice-President, participated in the 29th Eurasian Economic Summit organized in Istanbul by the Marmara Group Foundation.
Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, participated in the 20th Plenary Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM), held on 6-8 May 2026 in Budva, Montenegro.

On 21 April 2026, Mr. Borys Kolisnychenko, Deputy Secretary General of PABSEC, participated in the Meeting of the BSEC Committee of Senior Officials, held at the headquarters of the BSEC Organization in Istanbul.
On 19 April 2026, a PABSEC Delegation took part in the international observation mission for the parliamentary elections in the Republic of Bulgaria.
