The 62nd Meeting of the PABSEC Committee on Social and Humanitarian Policy was held in Skopje (Republic of North Macedonia) on 5 March 2024 upon the invitation of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia. The Meeting was attended by the national delegations from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, the Republic of Moldova, North Macedonia, Serbia, Türkiye and Ukraine, as well as a representative of the BSEC Permanent International Secretariat and members of the PABSEC International Secretariat.

On 5 March 2024, within the framework of organizing a meeting of the PABSEC Committee on Social and Humanitarian Policy in Skopje, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, met with Mr. Talat Xhaferi, Prime Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia, former President of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia.

Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, took part in the Diplomatic Forum on “Advancing Diplomacy in Times of Turmoil”, which was held under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Türkiye at the Nest Congress Centre in Antalya on 1-3 March 2024.
We congratulate all the members of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation on the day of the establishment of the Assembly and wish many more years of cooperation for the benefit of the states and the peoples in the BSEC Region.
The Special Meeting of the PABSEC Standing Committee was held in Istanbul, on 23 February 2024. The Meeting was attended by the national delegations of Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, the Republic of Moldova, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Türkiye and Ukraine.
On 23 February 2024, the Meeting of the Working Group on the PABSEC Rules of Procedure was held with the participation of representatives of the national delegations of all 12 countries.
