PABSEC GENERAL ASSEMBLIES

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation meets in ordinary sessions twice a year, usually in the last decade of June and in the first decade of December, by rotation in each member country.

The spring and autumn sessions are the main activity of the PABSEC. Each Plenary Session of the General Assembly provides a forum for vigorous discussions as well as assessment of BSEC activities and adopts reports and recommendations, declarations and decisions. These documents are transmitted to the BSEC Meetings of the Council of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, national parliaments and governments of the member countries and international organizations. Traditionally, the President of the host country, the Speakers of the thirteen National Parliaments and the BSEC Chairman-in-Office are invited to address the PABSEC General Assembly.
