Mr. Daniel Dulca, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General, attended the online Global Parliamentary Forum, jointly organized by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the Parliamentary Network on the World Bank and IMF, on 13-20 April 2022.
On 14 April 2022, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, paid a working visit to Sofia and met with Mr. Nikola Minchev, President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria. During his visit to Sofia, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, visited the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and met with President Academician Julian Rewalski.
The 58th Meeting of the PABSEC Economic, Commercial and Financial Affairs Committee was held online, on 12 April 2022, with the technical support of the PABSEC International Secretariat.
The 58th Meeting of the PABSEC Cultural, Educational and Social Affairs Committee was held online, on 6 April 2022, with the technical support of the PABSEC International Secretariat.
The 59th Meeting of the PABSEC Legal and Political Affairs Committee was held online, on 6 April 2022, with the technical support of the PABSEC International Secretariat.
On 5 April 2022, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, took part in the Meeting of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Türkiye dedicated to the "Transport and Logistics Master Plan - Transport 2053 Vision Launch" which was presented by Mr. Adil Karaismailoğlu, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Türkiye. At the event, Mr. Hajiyev was accompanied by Mr. Ali Gürkan Üstündağ, Administrator of the PABSEC International Secretariat.
On 1-4 April 2022, the PABSEC Delegation composed of Mr. Babken Tunyan, Head of the PABSEC Armenian Delegation, Mr. Petar Kanev, Head of the PABSEC Bulgarian Delegation, and Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, visited Belgrade and took part in the observation mission for the parliamentary and presidential elections in the Republic of Serbia, on 3 April 2022. The Delegation was accompanied by Ms. Milena Ljubinkovic, Secretary of the PABSEC Economic, Commercial and Financial Affairs Committee.
Mr. Miltiadis Makrygiannis, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General attended virtually the Global Anti-Corruption & Integrity Forum, organized by the OECD from 30 March to 1 April 2022.
Mr. Daniel Dulca, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General, attended, on 31 March 2022, the online webinar, entitled “Putting the wellbeing of people at the centre of COVID -19 recovery strategies: The critical role of parliaments”.
On 29 March 2022, the Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to the Republic of Turkey, Dimitri Сroitor, visited the PABSEC International Secretariat and met with Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General. The Ambassador was accompanied by Ms. Corina Prigorschi, First Secretary of the Embassy, and Ms. Tatiana Celebi, Second Secretary of the Department for Economy and Trade, of the Embassy.
