Participation of the PABSEC International Secretariat, in the Coordination Meeting of the Serbian BSEC Chairmanship-in-Office with the BSEC Committee of Senior Officials, BSEC Related Bodies and the BSEC PERMIS, 31 January 2023
Mr. Miltiadis Makrygiannis, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General, participated in the Coordination Meeting of the Serbian BSEC Chairmanship-in-Office with the BSEC Committee of Senior Officials, BSEC Related Bodies and the BSEC Permanent International Secretariat, which took place online, on 31 January 2023.
The Meeting was chaired by Ambassador Sanja Milinkovic, Department for Multilateral Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia.
Ambassador Milan Milanovic, Acting Assistant Minister, in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia presented the priorities of the Serbian BSEC Chairmanship-in-Office (1 January – 30 June 2023), stressing that it will focus on achievable, practical and visible objectives so as to contribute to the sustainable development of the wider Black Sea Region.
Representatives of the PABSEC, the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank and the International Centre for Black Sea Studies informed the participants about the current and future activities of their organizations.
Mr. Miltiadis Makrygiannis briefly informed the participants about the activities of the Assembly in the first half of 2023, and the events that are scheduled to take place on the occasion of the 30th Anniversary of the PABSEC.
