Meeting of the Draft Budget and Auditing Commission, Istanbul, 17 February 2023
On 17 February 2023, the meeting of the Draft Budget and Auditing Commission was held at the PABSEC International Secretariat.
In accordance with the decision of the 60th PABSEC General Assembly in Belgrade in December 2022, the Draft Budget and Auditing Commission was formed in the following composition: Ms. Maria-Alexandra Kefala, Member of the PABSEC Hellenic Delegation, Ms. Mariana Cusnir, Head of the PABSEC Moldovan Delegation, and Ms. Vjollca Ademi, Member of the PABSEC North-Macedonian Delegation. Mr. Cemal Ozturk, PABSEC Vice-President in charge of Financial Matters, Head of the PABSEC Turkish delegation, also participated in the work of the Commission. Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, and the members of the PABSEC International Secretariat assisted in the work of the Draft Budget and Auditing Commission.
The members of the Commission discussed the implementation of the PABSEC budget in the 2022 financial year and considered the draft Auditing Report. Taking into account the budget execution in 2022, plans for international meetings and international relations, the Draft Budget and Auditing Commission considered the draft Budget for the 2024 financial year. It was noted that the members of the Commission will present their opinion on the final documents within 10 days.
The Auditıng Report for 2022 and the draft Budget for the 2024 Financial Year will be submitted to the Standing Committee in the framework of the 61st General Assembly in Türkiye in May 2023.
