Mr. Miltiadis Makrygiannis, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General attended the online 9th Annual European Cybersecurity Conference co-organised by Forum Europe and the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO), in Brussels on 24 March 2022.
Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, took part in the 5th Edition of the Workshop for Young Diplomats from the BSEC Member States on “Developing Cultural Diplomacy in the Black Sea Region”, organized by the BSEC Permanent International Secretariat (BSEC PERMIS) together with the Turkish Bureau of the “Konrad Adenauer Stiftung” Foundation (KAS) in Thessaloniki, on 21-24 March 2022.
Mr. Mahmud Erol Kilic, Director General of the Research Centre for Islamic History, Art and Culture (IRCICA) of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), former Secretary General of the Parliamentary Union of the Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (PUIC) visited the PABSEC International Secretariat in Istanbul and met with Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General
Ms. Pavlina Lozanova, Secretary of the PABSEC Legal and Political Affairs Committee took part in online event organized by the Inter-Parliamentary Union on “The role of women’s leadership and gender-responsive parliaments in climate action”, held online on 14 March 2022.
Mr. Cemal Ozturk, PABSEC Vice-President, Head of the PABSEC Turkish Delegation, and Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, participated in the Second Antalya Diplomacy Forum on “Recoding Diplomacy”, which was held at the Nest Congress Centre in Antalya, on 11-13 March 2022, under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Turkey.

Ms. Milena Ljubinkovic, Secretary of the PABSEC Economic, Commercial and Financial Affairs Committee took part in the Webinar “Green Energy in the BSEC Region and Beyond” organized online on 4 March 2022. The event was co-organized by the BSEC PERMIS and the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia.
The PABSEC Delegation, composed of Mr. Cemal Ozturk, PABSEC Vice-President, Head of the PABSEC Turkish Delegation, and Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary-General, paid a working visit to Hungary, on 1-3 March 2022 and had meetings in the National Assembly and in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country.
