The PABSEC Delegation composed of Mr. Cemal Ozturk, PABSEC Vice-President, Head of the PABSEC Turkish Delegation, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, Mr. Ersin Aydin, Secretary of the PABSEC Turkish Delegation, and Mr. Ali Ustundag, Administrative Officer of the PABSEC International Secretariat, took part in the 54th Plenary Session of the IPA CIS, held at the Congress Centre of the International Tourist Centre “The Great Silk Road” in Samarkand, on 28 October 2022.

The 60th Meeting of the PABSEC Legal and Political Affairs Committee was held online on 25 October 2022 with the technical support of the Hellenic Parliament. The Meeting was attended by the national delegations of Albania, Azerbaijan, Greece, the Republic of Moldova, North Macedonia, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine, as well as a representative of the BSEC Permanent International Secretariat.

On 18 October 2022, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, took part in the Fourth International Parliamentary Conference of the OSCE PA Silk Road Group “Strengthening Connectivity to Ensure Energy and Food Security in Times of Crisis”, organized together with the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye in Istanbul.

On 7 October 2022, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, took part in the International Conference “CIS Convention on Standards for Democratic Elections: Open Space for International Cooperation”, which was attended by more than 200 participants: parliamentarians, representatives of international parliamentary delegations, election administration bodies, experts, and scientists.
