The PABSEC Delegation composed of Mr. Cemal Ozturk, Head of the PABSEC Turkish Delegation, and Mr. Musa Guliyev, member of the PABSEC Azerbaijani Delegation, took part in the observation mission for local elections in the Republic of Bulgaria in Sofia on 27 October 2019.
The 18th Summit of the Heads of State and Government of the Non-Aligned Movement was held in Baku on 25-26 October 2019 upon the invitation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, who assumes the Presidency in this Organization for the next three years (2019-2022). At this event, the PABSEC was represented by Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General.
At the Palace of Europe in Strasbourg on 24-25 October 2019 the European Conference of Presidents of Parliament was held, which is organised every two years. The Conference was attended by the presidents of parliaments of the member states of the Council of Europe, partner and observer countries, as well as the presidents of international parliamentary assemblies. At this event, PABSEC was represented by Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General.
Mr. Daniel Dulca, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General, participated in the Meeting of the BSEC Committee of Senior Officials for Related Bodies, Observers and Sectoral Dialogue Partners, which was held at the BSEC Headquarters in Istanbul, on 22 October 2019.
The Fifty-Third Meeting of the PABSEC Cultural, Educational and Social Affairs Committee was held in Chisinau on 21-22 October 2019 upon the invitation of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova. The Meeting was attended by the national delegations of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Turkey and Ukraine.
The PABSEC delegation composed of Mr. Petar Kanev, Head of the PABSEC Bulgarian Delegation, Mr. Otar Danelia, Head of the PABSEC Georgian Delegation and PABSEC Vice-President, Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Vice-Chair of the PABSEC Legal and Political Affairs Committee and member of the PABSEC Georgian Delegation, and Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, took part in the observation mission for local elections in the Republic of Moldova in Chisinau on 20 October 2019.

The PABSEC delegation composed of Mrs. Roberta Alma Anastase, Head of the PABSEC Romanian Delegation, Mr. Cemal Ozturk, Head of the PABSEC Turkish Delegation, and Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, took part in the 65th Session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, in London on 11-14 October 2019 upon the invitation of the Parliament of Great Britain.
