On 15 July 2020, The PABSEC Deputy Secretary General Mr. Miltiadis Makrygiannis attended the virtual Parliamentary Forum “The Big Reset: Learning from COVID-19 to fast-track the SDGs” at the United Nations High-level Political Forum on sustainable development (HLPF), organized by the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU).
Mr. Daniel Dulca, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General, attended the online webinar entitled “Building back better: Lessons from the COVID-19 pandemic to enhance the role of parliaments in disaster risk reduction”, jointly organized by the IPU, the World Health Organization (WHO) and the UN Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR), on 9 July 2020.
The 55th Meeting of the PABSEC Legal and Political Affairs Committee was organised online on 9 July 2020 with the technical support of the PABSEC International Secretariat. The national delegations of Albania. Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Russia, and Turkey took part in the Meeting. Mr. Mikhail Emelianov, Chairman of the Committee (Russia) chaired the Meeting.
The 54th Meeting of the PABSEC Cultural, Educational and Social Affairs Committee was organised online on 7 July 2020 with the technical support of the PABSEC International Secretariat. The national delegations of Albania. Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Turkey, and Ukraine took part in the Meeting. The Meeting was chaired by Mr. Metin Gundogdu, Chairman of the Committee (Turkey).

The national delegations of Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Turkey, and Ukraine took part in the Meeting. Mr. Krasimir Velchev, Chairman of the Committee (Bulgaria) chaired the Meeting.

Potential response actions”, organized by the International Centre for Black Sea Studies (ICBSS), the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) and the EU Commission's Directorate General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (DG MARE), in cooperation with the Bulgarian Coordination of the Common Maritime Agenda.
