The 54th Meeting of the PABSEC Economic, Commercial, Technological and Environmental Affairs Committee was organised online with the technical support of the PABSEC International Secretariat. The national delegations of Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Turkey, and Ukraine took part in the Meeting. Mr. Krasimir Velchev, Chairman of the Committee (Bulgaria) chaired the Meeting.

The PABSEC Deputy Secretary General Mr. Miltiadis Makrygiannis attended the online workshop titled “How has the Covid-19 pandemic affected Blue Economy in the Black Sea region? Potential response actions”, organized by the International Centre for Black Sea Studies (ICBSS), the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) and the EU Commission's Directorate General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (DG MARE), in cooperation with the Bulgarian Coordination of the Common Maritime Agenda.

PABSEC held an online meeting between the Heads of National Delegations on 7 May 2020

Upon the initiative of Mr. Cemal Ozturk, Head of the PABSEC Turkish Delegation, and with the technical support of the PABSEC International Secretariat, on 7 May 2020, the Heads of the PABSEC National Delegations held an online videoconference meeting. The meeting was attended by the Heads of National Delegations of Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Romania, and Turkey, as well as the PABSEC Secretary General, secretaries of delegations of all PABSEC member countries and the members of the PABSEC International Secretariat.
