On 19 December 2022, Mr. Bulent Arinc, Former Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, Former Deputy Prime Minister of Türkiye, and Former Head of the PABSEC Turkish Delegation, visited the PABSEC International Secretariat in Istanbul and met with Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General.
Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, participated in the Workshop on Green Economy Promotion organized by the UfM Secretariat, under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry of Algeria, with the support of the Development Cooperation Agency (GIZ).
Mr. Miltiadis Makrygiannis, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General, participated in the 4th edition of the Balkans and Black Sea Forum, entitled “The Eurasian nexus post 2022: high-stakes arena for security, trade and investments”, held in Athens Acropolis Museum on 13 – 14 December 2022.
The 60th Plenary Session of the PABSEC General Assembly was held in Belgrade, on 7-8 December 2022, upon the invitation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia. Parliamentary delegations of Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, the Republic of Moldova, North Macedonia, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Türkiye and Ukraine took part in the works of the General Assembly.
The meetings of the Bureau of the Assembly and the Standing Committee were held on 6 December 2022 in Belgrade, chaired by Mr. Vladimir Orlic, PABSEC President, President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.
On 1-2 December 2022, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, participated in the 18th annual meeting of the International Network for SMEs (INSME), which was organized in Baku in cooperation with the Azerbaijan Small and Medium Business Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (KOBIA) under the auspices of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
On 30 November 2022, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, paid a working visit to Ankara and had meetings in the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye.

On 28 November 2022, Mr. Petar Kanev, Chairman of the PABSEC Economic, Commercial and Financial Affairs Committee, Head of the PABSEC Bulgarian Delegation visited the PABSEC International Secretariat in Istanbul and met with Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General.
The PABSEC Delegation, composed of Mr. Metin Gundogdu, member of the PABSEC Turkish Delegation, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, and Ms. Fikriye Yakishtiran, Secretary of the PABSEC Turkish Delegation, participated in the 20th Autumn Meeting of the OSCE PA.
