Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, participated in the Eighth Plenary Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Turkic-Speaking countries (TURKPA) which was hosted by the Grand National Assembly of Turkey in Izmir, on 20-21 November 2018.
During 15-16 November 2018, Mr. Petar Kanev, PABSEC Vice-President and Chairman of the Committee on Economic Policy and Tourism in the Parliament of the Republic of Bulgaria took part in the Second International Congress on World Civilizations and Historical Routes, organized by the World Tourism Organization (WTO) at the UN in Sofia, Bulgaria.

A Hungarian delegation headed by Ambassador Ivan Gyurcsik, Representative of Hungary to the BSEC, paid a courtesy visit to the PABSEC International Secretariat in Istanbul, on 31 October 2018 and met with Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General.
