The 58th Meeting of the PABSEC Legal and Political Affairs Committee, 4 October 2021

The 58th Meeting of the PABSEC Legal and Political Affairs Committee was held online, on 4 October 2021, with the technical support of the PABSEC International Secretariat. The National delegations of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Greece, Republic of Moldova, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine, as well as the representative of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia as a guest and the representative of the BSEC PERMIS took part in the Meeting, which was chaired by Mr. Mikhail Emelianov, Chairman of the Committee (Russia).

The PABSEC Participation in the 10th Plenary Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-Speaking Countries, Turkistan (Kazakhstan), 27-28 September 2021

Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, participated in the Tenth Jubilee Plenary Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-Speaking Countries (TURKPA), which was organized in the spiritual capital of the Turkic world, Turkistan (Kazakhstan) on 27-28 September 2021. The Assembly was attended by the parliamentarians from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey, as well as the representatives of the legislative bodies of Uzbekistan and Hungary, and international organizations.

The 57th Meeting of the PABSEC Economic, Commercial and Financial Affairs Committee, 22 September 2021

The 57th Meeting of the PABSEC Economic, Commercial and Financial Affairs Committee was held online on 22 September 2021 with the technical support of the PABSEC International Secretariat. National delegations from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Greece, Republic of Moldova, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine, as well as the representative of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia as a guest and the representatives of the BSEC PERMIS took part in the Meeting. Participation of the PABSEC delegation in the observation mission for the elections of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the Eighth Convocation, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, 17-19 September 2021

The PABSEC Delegation, composed of Mr. Petar Kanev, Head of the PABSEC Bulgarian Delegation and Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, was on an observation mission for the elections of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation in the capital of Kamchatka Region, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky on 17-19 September 2021.

PABSEC Participation in the Fifth World Conference of Speakers of Parliaments, Vienna, 6-9 September 2021

Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, participated in the Fifth World Conference of Speakers of Parliaments, which took place in Vienna on 6-8 September 2021. The Fifth World Conference of Speakers of Parliaments was followed on 9 September 2021 by the First Global Parliamentary Summit on Counter-Terrorism, jointly organized by the Inter-Parliamentary Union and the United Nations.

PABSEC Participation in the 30th Baltic Sea Parliamentary Conference, 30 August 2021

Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, and Mr. Miltiadis Makrygiannis, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General, took part in the 30th Baltic Sea Parliamentary Conference (BSPC), which was held online on 30 August 2021.  The Conference was attended by over 150 participants, including parliamentarians from the BSPC member countries, as well as representatives of local legislative bodies, international organizations and academic community.
