Working visit of the PABSEC Secretary General, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev to the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences
On 25 November 2025, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General paid a visit to the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and met with Academician Evelina Slavcheva, President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bulgaria.
During the meeting, Mr. Hajiyev informed Academician Slavcheva on the current PABSEC activities and the outcomes of the 66th PABSEC General Assembly, held in Sofia on 23–25 November 2025. Mr. Hajiyev also extended an invitation to the President of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences to participate in the Ayder Forum, which will be organized with the support of PABSEC on 15–16 January 2026.
Academician Slavcheva expressed her gratitude for the invitation and informed the Secretary General about the ongoing preparations for the 3rd Meeting of the Presidents of the Academies of Sciences of the BSEC Member States, which will take place on 15 May 2026 in Sofia. The parties further discussed organizational matters related to the upcoming event.
