Working Visit of Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, to the Hellenic Parliament, 15 September 2026
On 15 September 2026, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, paid a working visit to the Hellenic Parliament, where he held a meeting with Ms. Sofia Voultepsi, PABSEC Vice-President and Head of the PABSEC Hellenic Delegation.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the preparations for the forthcoming 68th PABSEC General Assembly, to be held in Athens on 23–25 November 2026, as well as organisational and procedural matters related to its successful conduct.
Mr. Hajiyev expressed his appreciation for the continued support extended by the Hellenic Parliament and the PABSEC Hellenic Delegation to the activities of the PABSEC. The Secretary General also informed Ms. Voultepsi about invitations recently extended to the PABSEC by international and interparliamentary organisations to participate in forthcoming events.
Ms. Cristina Balkamou, Secretary of the PABSEC Hellenic Delegation, also took part in the meeting.
