Working visit of Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, to Ankara, 21 March 2023
On 21 March 2023, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, paid a working visit to Ankara and had meetings in the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (GNAT).
During the meeting with Mr. Mustafa Sentop, PABSEC President, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, the PABSEC Secretary General informed the President about the final stage of the preparatory work carried out by the PABSEC International Secretariat for the organisation of the 61st PABSEC General Assembly under the PABSEC Turkish Presidency, which will take place in Ankara, on 4 -5 May 2023.
Mr. Mustafa Sentop thanked the Secretary General for the work done and assured that the Turkish Parliament and the PABSEC Turkish Delegation will do their utmost for the successful holding of the 61st PABSEC General Assembly and the Summit of Speakers of the BSEC Member States Parliaments, which will be held in Ankara, on 4 May 2023.
At the working meeting with Mr. Cemal Oztürk, PABSEC Vice-President, Head of the PABSEC Turkish Delegation, the PABSEC Secretary General discussed the issues of the 61st PABSEC General Assembly and the Summit of Speakers of the Parliaments of the BSEC Member States to be held in Türkiye, in May 2023.
