Visit of the Vice-President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the PABSEC International Secretariat, Istanbul, 13 February 2024
On 13 February 2024, Academician Ibrahim Guliyev, Vice-President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Azerbaijan, visited the PABSEC International Secretariat and met with Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General.
The PABSEC Secretary General welcomed the guest to Istanbul and noted the importance of holding the First Meeting of the Presidents of the Academies of Sciences of the BSEC Member States upon the initiative of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation. The importance of strengthening the academic component of multilateral cooperation in the Wider Black Sea Region was emphasized.
Academician Ibrahim Guliyev, on behalf of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Azerbaijan, thanked the PABSEC Secretary General for the warm welcome and for the invitation. He underlined the need to strengthen interaction between scientists of the BSEC member states and scientific and technical cooperation.
