Visit of the All Bureaucrats and Businessmen Association to the PABSEC International Secretariat, 1 February 2024, Istanbul
Prof. Dr. Recep Yıldızhan, Chairman of the All Bureaucrats and Businessmen Association (TUMBİAD) Mr. Can Çobanoğlu, Chairman of TUMBİAD Advisory Board ,and Mr. Arif Ekşi, TÜMBİAD Chief Executive Officer visited the PABSEC International Secretariat on 1 February 2024 and met with Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General.
During the meeting, TUMBIAD delegation presented information to the PABSEC Secretary General about the formation of the Association, its activities ,and planned events in the coming period. TUMBIAD delegation expressed their opinions on the increasing strategic importance of the Black Sea Region, the development of alternative energy production ,and the effective use of existing energy resources in the Region. Additionally, the issue of energy that can be obtained from seas and underground resources was also discussed. In this context, TUMBIAD delegation stated their intention to organize a meeting in September or October 2024, where energy issues in the Black Sea Region will be discussed.
Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, the PABSEC Secretary General thanked the delegation for their visit and provided them with brief information on the structure and functioning of the PABSEC. Drawing attention to the importance of energy resources for the countries in the Black Sea Region, the PABSEC Secretary General advised the TUMBIAD delegation also to contact with the BSEC and the BSEC related bodies
