Visit of Representatives of the International Ayder Association to the PABSEC International Secretariat, Istanbul, 4 May 2026
On 4 May 2026, Mr. Erol Aykut, Member of the Executive Board of the International Ayder Association, and Mr. Arif Eksi, Coordinator of the Association, visited the PABSEC International Secretariat in Istanbul and met with Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General.
During the Meeting the representatives briefed the Secretary General on the preparations for the Third International “Ayder Forum”, scheduled for 2027, which will gather high-level officials, parliamentarians, academics, and business representatives to address key regional priorities, including health-related issues. They also informed about an international event, dedicated to Artificial Intelligence, to be held in Istanbul, in September 2026 and extended invitations to both events.
Mr. Hajiyev expressed his appreciation for the invitations and commended the Association’s role in promoting regional dialogue and cooperation. He expressed confidence that the 2027 Ayder Forum will contribute to strengthening cooperation in the Black Sea region. Mr. Hajiyev also informed the guests about the current PABSEC activies and the forthcoming 67th PABSEC General Assembly, to be held in Georgia.
Mr. Ali Ustundag, Administrative Officer of the PABSEC International Secretariat, also participated in the meeting.
