Visit of Mr. Bratislav Karddić, Consul General of Montenegro in Istanbul, to the PABSEC International Secretariat, Istanbul, 5 December 2025
On 5 December 2025, Mr. Bratislav Karddić, Consul General of Montenegro in Istanbul, paid an official visit to the PABSEC International Secretariat and met with Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General. The meeting was also attended by Mr. Akkan Suver, President of the Marmara Group Foundation and Honorary Consul of Türkiye in Montenegro.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the prospects for further strengthening Montenegro’s constructive engagement in the multilateral processes taking place in the wider Black Sea Region and within the framework of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation.
Mr. Hajiyev expressed his appreciation to Mr. Karddić for the visit and informed him about the current activities and initiatives of PABSEC aimed at promoting inter-parliamentary cooperation in the Region. He also provided information regarding the procedure of Montenegro’s possible accession to the BSEC family, as well as the mandate and ongoing work of the Assembly.
The Secretary General reaffirmed the readiness of the PABSEC International Secretariat to extend its full support to the further development of cooperation between Montenegro and the PABSEC.
