Visit of Mr. Ashraf Bouali, Head of the Istanbul Center of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, to the PABSEC International Secretariat, 14 April 2026
On 14 April 2026, Mr. Ashraf Bouali, Director of the OECD Istanbul Center, paid a visit to the PABSEC International Secretariat and met with Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General.
During the meeting, Mr. Hajiyev informed Mr. Bouali about the ongoing activities of the Assembly and extended an invitation to participate in the 67th PABSEC General Assembly, to be held in Georgia from 29 June to 1 July 2026.
Mr. Alibouan expressed his appreciation for the invitation and provided information on the activities and future initiatives of the OECD Istanbul Center.
The sides exchanged views on issues of common interest and explored possible joint events for enhancing cooperation between PABSEC and the OECD Istanbul Centre, particularly in the areas of economic resilience and development for the Member States. Both sides underlined the importance of multilateral cooperation in addressing current economic challenges and promoting sustainable and inclusive growth in the Black Sea region.
