Visit of Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, to Mr. Gramoz Ruçi, PABSEC President and Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Albania, Tirana, 23 March 2018
Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, paid a visit to Mr. Gramoz Ruçi, PABSEC President and Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Albania, in Tirana on 23 March 2018.
Mr. Hajiyev informed Mr. Ruçi about the activities during the PABSEC Albanian Presidency: the Meeting of the Secretaries General of the Parliaments of the BSEC Member States and of the International Organisations having the Observer Status to the PABSEC, the Special Meeting of the PABSEC Standing Committee, dedicated to the 25th Anniversary of the Assembly and the Business Forum between the business community of the BSEC Member States and the Republic of Belarus as well as the Silk Road Conference, which will be held in Minsk during 28-29 May 2018. During the meeting, Mr. Hajiyev also informed the PABSEC President about the organization of the Conference of the Presidents of the Parliaments of the BSEC Member States, which will take place in Istanbul on 15 May 2018 and about the Speakers who have already confirmed their participation.
In the framework of this visit, Mr. Hajiyev provided information regarding the spring meetings of the PABSEC committees and the preparation of the upcoming 51st PABSEC General Assembly, which will be held in Tirana, during 19-21 June 2018.
Mr. Ruçi expressed his full support to the activities of the PABSEC and highly appreciated the work of the PABSEC International Secretariat.
Mr. Andrea Marto, PABSEC Vice-President and Head of the PABSEC Albanian Delegation and Mrs. Irma Pashkja, General Director of the Foreign Relation Service of the Parliament of the Republic of Albania also participated in the meeting.
