Visit of Mr. Samil Ayrim, Member of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye to the PABSEC International Secretariat, Istanbul, 5 June 2023
On 5 June 2023, Mr. Shamil Ayrim, member of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye from Istanbul from the Justice and Development Party, visited the PABSEC International Secretariat and met with Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General.
The PABSEC Secretary General congratulated the guest on his election to the new parliament and informed him about the current and planned work of the Parliamentary Assembly, and about the results of the 61st PABSEC General Assembly, which was held in Ankara on 4-5 May 2023. The PABSEC Secretary General emphasized the constructive role of the leadership of the GNAT and the PABSEC Turkish delegation in the work of the Assembly and expressed hope for continuing close mutual work.
Mr. Samil Ayrim expressed his gratitude to the Secretary General and assured of the support of the activities of the Assembly and its International Secretariat from the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye. He expressed hope that the new PABSEC Turkish delegation will continue bringing its constructive contribution to the activities of the Assembly.
