The PABSEC Participation in the Coordination Meeting of the Albanian BSEC Chairmanship-in-Office, Istanbul, 31 January 2024
Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, participated in the Coordination Meeting of the Albanian BSEC Chairmanship-in-Office with the Committee of Senior Officials, the BSEC Related Bodies and the BSEC PERMIS, which was held at the BSEC Headquarters in Istanbul, on 31 January 2024.
The Meeting was attended by the representatives of the BSEC Member States, and the BSEC Related Bodies. The Meeting was chaired by the representative of the Albanian BSEC Chairmanship-in-Office, Mr. Besart Kadia, Deputy Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania.
The BSEC PERMIS Secretary General Ambassador Lazar Comanescu, in his opening remarks wished success to the Albanian Chairmanship-in-Office and expressed support to the implementation of priorities.
The Meeting discussed and approved the BSEC Calendar of Events during the Albanian BSEC Chairmanship-in-Office (1 January – 30 June 2024), which will be conducted under the motto “Coming Together for a Peaceful Cooperation in the BSEC Area”.
Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, informed the participants about the current and forthcoming activities of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation in the first half of 2024 and wished success to the Albanian BSEC Chairmanship-in-Office.
