The Fifty-First Meeting of the PABSEC Legal and Political Affairs Committee Tirana, 19 June 2018
The Fifty-First Meeting of the PABSEC Legal and Political Affairs Committee was held in Tirana, on 19 June 2018, upon the invitation of the Parliament of the Republic of Albania and in the framework of the Fifty-First General Assembly. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Michael Yemelianov, Chairman of the Committee.
The members of Committee discussed and approved the draft Report and the draft Recommendation 162/2018 on “Strengthening Cooperation in Cybersecurity in the BSEC Member States”, that are submitted to the consideration of the Fifty-First Plenary Session of the Assembly.
The Committee discussed and endorsed the amendments to the PABSEC Rules of Procedure, the Staff Regulations of the PABSEC International Secretariat and the Financial Regulations which were adopted by consensus at the Working Group on the Rules of Procedure in Istanbul, in March 2018.
The Fifty-Second Meeting of the Committee will take place in Kavala (Greece), on 17-18 October 2018. The main item on the Agenda will be “The Role of Trade Unions in Strengthening Economic Cooperation in the BSEC Region.”
