Participation of the PABSEC International Secretariat in the meeting of the BSEC Working Group on Information and Communication Technologies
Ms. Milena Ljubinkovic, Secretary of the PABSEC Technological and Environmental Affairs Committee took part in the BSEC Working Group on Information and Communication Technologies that was held online on 22 November 2023.
The Meeting was chaired by Mr. Bakhtiyar Mammadov, Deputy Head of Administration, Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The meeting was attended by the representatives of the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Bulgaria, Georgia, the Hellenic Republic, the Republic of Moldova, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Serbia, the Republic of Türkiye and Ukraine.
The Working Group took note of the activities of the Project Development Fund (PDF) aimed at financing the project proposals in various fields of cooperation, including in the field of ICT.
The Working Group also underlined the importance of long-standing cooperation between the Republic of Korea and the BSEC and welcomed the outcome of the 12th Korea-BSEC ICT Cooperation Program that was organized in Seoul from 30 October to 3 November 2023.
At the meeting participants discussed the recent developments and activities in their countries in the field of ICT, as well as the possible prospects of cooperation among the Member States in this field.
