Participation of Mr. Miltiadis Makrygiannis, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General, in the Third Workshop on Security and Stability in the Mediterranean and the Middle East, Athens, 5 – 7 November 2018
Mr. Miltiadis Makrygiannis, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General, attended the Third Workshop on Security and Stability in the Mediterranean and the Middle East which took place in Athens, during 5 -7 November 2018.
The Workshop was organized by the Institute of International Economic Relations (IIER/IDOS) of Athens in collaboration with the University of Catania, Italy, the Department of Mediterranean Studies, University of the Aegean (Rhodes), the ARAID/University of Zaragoza, Spain and the support of the United Nations University Institute on Globalization, Culture and Mobility (UNU-GCM), Barcelona.
The politicians, academicians, professors and bureaucrats discussed the important issues in several pannels, namely: “Regional and Global Dynamics in the Mediterranean”, “The USA, the EU and the BRICS”, “International Migration and Human (In)security in the Mediterranean”, “Stability and Instability in the Mediterranean and Middle East”, “Iran and Turkey – Domestic and Regional Dimensions”, “Parliamentary Actors in the Mediterranean”.
