PABSEC Participation in the online Meeting of the BSEC Committee of Senior Officials, 20 October 2026
On 20 October 2026, Mr. Borys Kolisnychenko, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General, participated in the online Meeting of the BSEC Committee of Senior Officials.
The Meeting was chaired by Mr. Nikolaos Emirzas, Representative of the Hellenic BSEC Chairmanship-in-Office, Counsellor for Economic and Commercial Affairs at the B4 Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic. It brought together representatives of the BSEC Member States, BSEC Related Bodies, Observers and Sectoral Dialogue Partners.
The Committee took note of the report presented by Ambassador Lazar Comanescu, Secretary General of the BSEC Permanent International Secretariat (PERMIS), on the activities of the Secretariat, as well as information on the meetings of the BSEC Working Groups held in the second half of 2026.
In his address, Mr. Kolisnychenko briefed the participants on the recent activities and forthcoming meetings of PABSEC, highlighting the Assembly’s continued efforts to promote parliamentary dialogue and cooperation in the Black Sea region. He also informed the participants about the ongoing preparations for the 68th PABSEC General Assembly, to be held in Athens, Hellenic Republic, on 23–25 November 2026, and the forthcoming transfer of the PABSEC Presidency to the Republic of Moldova.
