PABSEC Participation in the BSEC-URTA Working Party on Passenger Transport, 3 September 2026
On 3 September 2026, Mr. Borys Kolisnychenko, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General, participated in the meeting of the BSEC-URTA Working Party on Passenger Transport, held online.
The meeting focused on current issues related to international passenger transport and regional transport connectivity. The participants exchanged views on the development of passenger transport in the BSEC region and considered country case studies presented by representatives of Türkiye and the Republic of Moldova.
The discussions further addressed the possible impact of the EU Entry/Exit System (EES) and the European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS) on international passenger transport, including border-crossing procedures and their implications for transport operators and passengers.
The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange information and experience on practical issues affecting passenger transport and connectivity in the wider Black Sea region.
