PABSEC Participation in the BSEC-URTA Digitalisation Working Group Meeting, 23 September 2026
On 23 September 2026, Ms. Valentina Cobzareanu, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General, participated in the Meeting of the BSEC-URTA Digitalisation Working Group, held online.
The meeting brought together experts from academia, international organisations and the transport sector to exchange views on key issues related to international road transport, digitalisation and regional connectivity.
The discussions addressed international transport law and legal aspects of cross-border road transport operations, as well as ways to improve border-crossing efficiency and reduce waiting times, with reference to the Kapıkule Border Crossing.
Participants were also informed about the Eastern Partnership for Trade and Transport (EasTnT) regional project and other initiatives aimed at facilitating trade, transport, and connectivity in the Eastern Partnership and Central Asia.
The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange expertise and experience on current challenges and initiatives to improve the efficiency and facilitation of international transport and strengthen regional connectivity.
