Meeting of the PABSEC Draft Budget and Auditing Commission, Istanbul, 22 February 2024
The meeting of the Draft Budget and Auditing Commission was held at the PABSEC International Secretariat on 22 February 2024.
In accordance with the decision of the 62nd PABSEC General Assembly, the Draft Budget and Auditing Commission was formed in the following composition: Mr. Daniel Constantin, PABSEC-Vice-President, Head of the PABSEC Romanian Delegation, Mr. Igor Becic, Head of the Serbian PABSEC Delegation, Mr. Yilmaz Buyukaydin, member of the PABSEC Turkish Delegation. Mr. Petar Kanev, PABSEC Vice-President in charge of Financial Matters, Head of the PABSEC Bulgarian Delegation, also participated in the work of the Commission. Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, Ms. Sibel Sipahioglu, Accountant Officer, and other members of the PABSEC International Secretariat assisted the members of the Commission in their work.
Mr. Daniel Constantin, PABSEC-Vice-President, Head of the PABSEC Romanian Delegation, was elected as the Chairman of the Commission.
The members of the Commission discussed the implementation of the PABSEC budget in 2023 and adopted the Auditing Report. Taking into account the budget execution in 2023 and the international activities of the Assembly, the Draft Budget and Auditing Commission also prepared the draft Budget for the 2025 financial year, which will be submitted to the Meeting of the Standing Committee in the framework of the 63rd General Assembly in Albania in May 2024.
