Meeting of Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, with Mr. Ruslan Stefanchuk, PABSEC President, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Kyiv, 14 November 2023
On 14 November 2023, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, met with Mr. Ruslan Stefanchuk, PABSEC President, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. The PABSEC Secretary General congratulated the PABSEC President with successful implementation of the Presidency of the Parliament of Ukraine in the PABSEC.
The Secretary General informed the PABSEC President about the organizational work for holding the 62nd General Assembly in Kyiv on 15-17 November 2023 and about the results of the Assembly’s activities within the framework of the PABSEC Ukrainian Presidency. The Secretary General expressed gratitude for the significant contribution and active role played by the Ukrainian delegation in the work of the Assembly.
Mr. Ruslan Stefanchuk expressed full support for the activities of the PABSEC, noted that Ukraine attaches great importance to cooperation in the BSEC region and expressed readiness for further cooperation within the Assembly. The PABSEC President highly appreciated the work of the PABSEC International Secretariat.
