Meeting of Interested Member States on the Implementation of the “Golden Fleece” Project, Istanbul, 30 January 2019
Mr. Miltiadis Makrygiannis, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General, participated to the meeting of Interested Member States on the Implementation of the “Golden Fleece” Project, which took place in Istanbul, on 30 January 2019, in the BSEC PERMIS Headquarters.
Mr. Andrey PYLEV, the representative of the MKR-Media holding and Coordinator of the Project and Mr. Vitaly BECKER, Senior Expert of the Project, made a detailed presentation about Project’s concept, goals and strategy. The Project is financed by the “Black Sea Project Promotion Facility”, which was established on the basis of a voluntary contribution of 1 million US Dollars by the Russian Federation to the BSEC PERMIS, following the signing of a Donor Agreement between the Donor, the BSEC PERMIS and the BSTDB and of a Cooperation Agreement between the BSEC PERMIS and the BSTDB.
BSEC Secretary General pointed out that this is not a BSEC project and the BSEC PERMIS has not any specific role to play to that project. He made several remarks and suggestions for the improvement of the project and suggested to the representatives of the company to have close cooperation with the Black Sea Broadcasting Regulatory Authorities Forum –BRAF.
