The PABSEC Delegation, composed of Mr. Nazim Mavis, Member of the PABSEC Turkish delegation and Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, took part in the Annual IPU 2026 Parliamentary Hearing, held on 12–13 February 2026 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.

On 25–28 January 2026, the 16th Plenary Session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) was held in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain, under the theme “The Role of Asian Parliaments in Strengthening Intercultural and Inter-civilizational Dialogue in Asia: Opportunities, Challenges, and Future Pathways.”
Message of the Secretary General
Dear Friends, The Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC) was founded in 1993 and since its establishment it has witnessed both accomplishments and difficult moments. We stood together over the years and tried to overcome them.
The PABSEC brings together, nowadays, 81 MPs from thirteen Member States of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation, revealing itself as a unique political forum of inter-parliamentary dialogue in the Black Sea Region.
