On 7-8 May 2025, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, took part in the 28th Eurasian Economic Summit organized in Istanbul by the Marmara Group Strategic and Social Research Foundation.

On 5–6 May 2025, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General participated in the Fifth International Parliamentary Conference of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (OSCE PA) Silk Road Group, entitled “Bridging Continents: Advancing Sustainable Tourism, Clean Energy, and Ecological Balance for a Resilient Future”, which took place in Budva, Montenegro.
The 65th Meeting of the PABSEC Committee for Legal Affairs and International Cooperation was held in Skopje on 29 April 2025 upon the invitation of the Parliament of the Republic of North Macedonia. The Meeting was attended by the national delegations of Albania, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Türkiye and Ukraine, as well as a representative of the BSEC Permanent International Secretariat and members of the PABSEC International Secretariat.
On 28 April 2025, within the framework of organizing the meeting of the PABSEC Committee on Legal Affairs and International Cooperation in Skopje, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, met with Mr. Afrim Gashi, President of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia.
Dear Friends, The Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC) was founded in 1993 and since its establishment it has witnessed both accomplishments and difficult moments. We stood together over the years and tried to overcome them.
The PABSEC brings together, nowadays, 81 MPs from thirteen Member States of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation, revealing itself as a unique political forum of inter-parliamentary dialogue in the Black Sea Region.
