The 60^th Meeting of the PABSEC Legal and Political Affairs Committee was held online on 25 October 2022 with the technical support of the Hellenic Parliament.

The Meeting was attended by the national delegations of Albania, Azerbaijan, Greece, the Republic of Moldova, North Macedonia, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine, as well as a representative of the BSEC Permanent International Secretariat. The Meeting was chaired by Ms. Roberta Alma Anastase, Chairman of the Committee (Romania).

The Committee approved the draft Report and Recommendation 186/2022 "The Role of Parliaments in Stimulating Foreign Investments in the BSEC Member States", which will be submitted to the Sixtieth Plenary Session of the General Assembly.

The Committee took note of the information on the current activities of the BSEC Organization presented by Mr. Sergey Goncharenko, Deputy Secretary General of the BSEC Permanent International Secretariat.

The next 61^st Meeting of the Committee will be held in Romania on 17-18 May 2023. The main issue will be "The Role of Parliaments in Enhancing Economic Security in BSEC Member States ". Mr. David Sergeenko, Head of the PABSEC Georgian Delegation, was appointed Rapporteur for the Report.
